Drywall Restoration Professional’s Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years Drywall Experience (experience in water restoration drywall repair a plus)
  • Must have your own truck and tools (compressor & hopper).
  • Other Construction based trades a plus such as trim, paint, tile, flooring, cabinets, plumbing and electrical.
  • Must be legally able to work in the USA
  • Must pass a background check and have clean driving record.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage.
  • Identifying scope of work, measuring and sketching out all affected areas and employing industry standard restoration techniques.
  • Extracting water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment.
  • Performing demolition including removing damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall, etc.
  • Taking accurate moisture readings and properly setting up commercial drying equipment to minimize drying time.
  • Cleaning and maintaining proprietary equipment as needed.

Reconstruction Estimator & Project Manager Compensation & Benefits:

Reconstruction Estimator & Project Manager Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in construction and understanding of the mechanics in construction5+ years’
  • experience in estimating jobs, specifically in Disaster Restoration Reconstruction and repair5+ years’ in a
  • Management/Project Management Role in Disaster Restoration ReconstructionProven ability to oversee
  • and manage 10-15 projects at one time
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules
  • Proficient in using Xactimate & XactAnalysis; and must be tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project & Outlook)
  • Mitigation experience with IICRC Certifications in Water, Mold, Smoke, Fire a plus

This family owned restoration contractor specializes in the clean-up and repair of water, sewage, mold and fire damaged properties with full reconstruction services. The Restoration Reconstruction Estimator & Project Manager is responsible for estimating, selling, oversight & management of restoration (re)construction/repair projects, performing site inspections, document losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of the entire project through the use of Xactimate; negotiating costs with insurance carrier representatives; communicating with the Production Manager issues that will affect the project schedule, progress and/or budget. They will also manage the project cycle by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the installation teams and any coordinated subcontractors; ability to read Xactimate scopes proficiently; managing the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle; and securing any unique materials, permits and/or equipment required to complete the project.

Reconstruction Estimator & Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Use and read Xactimate scopes to estimate, sell, oversee & manage restoration reconstruction/repair projects
  • Respond to property damage emergency calls, when necessary
  • Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements
  • Manage budgets, profitability, schedules and progress of the projects, from start to finish while maintaining quality standards
  • Secure unique materials, permits, and equipment required
  • Plan, organize, lead, assist, manage and build team of field supervisors, production staff and vendors to ensure proper procedures are followed and projects are meeting timelines and budgetsEstablish and
  • maintain client, insurance company & adjuster relationships
