ServiceFirst responded to mold discovered in a bedroom/bathroom closet, likely from a previous copper line leak a few months ago. The affected area included drywall and baseboards in the closet. Upon arrival, we met with the tenant, who had already started containment measures. We proceeded with mold preparation by setting up plastic containment, removing closet organizers and affected drywall, and applying IAQ and antimicrobial treatments. During the demolition, additional mold was discovered in the bedroom closet, prompting further removal and cleanup with the approval of Alan and Adrian. We thoroughly cleaned and set up drying equipment, followed by quality control checks and mold clearance testing. After successfully passing the mold test, we removed all equipment and containment, vacuumed the area, and completed the project. A satisfaction form was sent to the owner for signature via email to confirm project completion.
