Water intrusion from the backyard flooded their kitchen living room dining room and formal dining room. I have a customer has already completed cabinet demo and remove the flooring himself. In addition, we will need to open all the exterior walls and remove any wet insulation. On the interior walls, we need to drill holes to inspect and see if there is any mold growth within those walls. After we have opened all the affected walls we will need to treat The framing with antimicrobial and sanding it down. The customer already has some containments up we will need to add additional containments over the windows and the exterior doors and shore up the current containments in those areas. The customer already had an asbestos test done himself and it came back negative. He also had a mold test done and that is how he knows there is mold in the area. The customer will be doing a post-test. So we will need to make sure everything is contained properly and all his contents are properly plastic off and there is no cross-contamination from the contents to the actual work we will be performing.
