Residential Water Damage Restoration

Inspected and found that the downstairs bathroom, hallway, mini bar, and family room are affected. The affected materials are drywall, baseboards, toe kicks, wood flooring, and framing. The source of loss was a cracked toilet in the downstairs bathroom. The issue was repaired prior to our arrival. The insured signed our work authorization at the out-of-pocket price we provided to start the remediation process. We requested asbestos testing in the downstairs bathroom drywall; set up containment in the family room and set up equipment. Once testing results were received (negative) we removed affected baseboards, toe-kicks, and drywall. Upon our final service check, all affected areas were dry except for the flooring. We removed our equipment and cleaned work areas. We attempted to dry flooring in place without success; some areas were spotty and other areas were still fully saturated. The Homeowner signed our refusal/release of liability f(or secondary damages) to remove the affected flooring with the understanding that it is not fully dry.
