Water Damage in Los Angeles, CA,
Arrived at the property and met the homeowner. He showed me to the source of loss, which was a crater in the center of the street that DWP was handling. Water was still flowing but was diverted from flowing into the home. This is a Cat 3 Class 2 project. We entered the property through a workspace area with a dark room for a closet. This areas flooring was damaged as well as the walls. The hallway was saturated and the bathroom as well. Mud had flown into the house, leaving dirt on the tile floor. The walls were saturated as well. The swollen wall has popped tile off of the wall; including the tile base and the shower walls. The office floor is also fully saturated with dirty water. The carpet and carpet pad need to be thrown away from base staining and the muddy cat 3 water. Luckily, the house is tired and not on a second level with a subfloor, the whole level is on concrete. This project needs to include at least an hour and a half of drive time surrounding each visit.
