Water Damage in Tustin , CA

A leak from the laundry room sink (upstairs) affected the cabinet and seeped through to the kitchen ceiling below. The plumber has already fixed the leak. Technicians arrived and found moisture in the laundry room’s drywall, baseboard, and the kitchen ceiling. They set up containment in both areas, removed the affected ceiling and vanity, and conducted HEPA vacuuming and cleaning with antimicrobial solution. While removing the vanity, the sink cracked due to its weight and excessive glue from the installation. Equipment was set up to dry both rooms.

Upon returning, technicians checked the moisture levels and found the framing still wet, leaving equipment running. By the next visit, both the kitchen and laundry room reached their drying goals. Equipment was removed, but the homeowner requested to leave the containment and floor protection in place. The homeowner also asked for estimates on both water damage and reconstruction. A walk-through is scheduled.
