Water Damage Dry Out and Restoration in Mission Viejo

Homeowner called. He has a leak in his wall. He can see the paint bubbling and the laminate floors raising. Cat 2 class 2. Source of loss was slab leak. Plumber came and capped it off. Did three O&M cuts for plumber. Affected areas are kitchen, dining room, and living room. Affected materials are drywall, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, and laminate flooring. Scope of work is to set plastic containments. Remove affected laminate flooring. Relocate refrigerator and detach stove. Remove lower cabinet facings and support granite countertops with 2×4’s. Remove full height. Cover up kitchen tile with rosin paper. Remove all affected baseboards. Cut out all affected drywall. Hepa vacuum from top to bottom. Wet wipe all exposed framing. Reset equipment. Need testing before any demo. Set one dehumidifier and one air scrubber to start dry out.
